[:en]Light: A Source of Life or a Sales Instrument?[:sl]Svetloba vir življenja ali prodaje?[:]

[:sl]Naravna svetloba predstavlja vir našega življenja, vendar pa si življenja tudi brez umetne svetlobe skoraj ne predstavljamo več. Z umetno svetlobo dosegamo poleg nadomestila naravne svetlobe, še vrsto drugih učinkov. [:en]Natural light is a source of life, yet we can now hardly imagine life without artificial lighting as well. Besides serving as a substitute for natural light, artificial light provides much more.  [:][:sl]Svetlobni učinki nam predstavljajo neverbalno komunikacijo sporočanja. Svetlobni panoji, opozorilni svetlobni znaki, svetlobni napisi, … vse zlahka opazimo, saj svetloba privlači človeško oko.

Oglaševanje na svetlobnih medijih je zato postal zelo priljubljen način kako postati »viden«. Vendar je potrebno pri izbiri svetlobnega napisa zadostiti najmanj trem pomembnim kriterijem:

–    napis mora biti viden tako podnevi, kot ponoči,

–    omogočati mora pogled in vidljivost s čim več zornih kotov,

–    njegovo vzdrževanje mora biti enostavno.

V zadnjem času je v porastu zunanje oglaševanje z uporabo LED prikazovalnikov, saj predstavljajo učinkovitejši način oglaševanja kot statične svetlobe table. Prikazujejo animirana sporočila, kot so reklamni spoti in videoposnetki, zato so za mimoidoče še privlačnejši. Tako vam ta sodobni medij omogoča hiter in enostaven način komunikacije z vašo ciljno publiko, ki posredno vpliva tudi na prodajo, saj vaša sporočila ne bodo ostala neopažena.

Zunanje oglaševanje se je začelo že pred mnogimi leti, ko so gostilničarji svojo ponudbo predstavljali na lesenih tablah, na pročeljih svojih gostiln. Še danes lahko opazimo napise na starejših stavbah. Bakreni in medeninasti napisi in izveski, ki so se bohotili na pročeljih stavb je povozil čas, saj je bilo njihovo vzdrževanje zamudno in drago opravilo. Največja slabost teh napisov in označevanj pa je bila slaba »vidljivost«, saj ponoči niso bili vidni, podnevi pa smo jih zlahka spregledali.

Sodobni mediji današnjega časa: svetlobni napisi, LED prikazovalniki, reklamni stebri, neonski napisi, omogočajo široko paleto učinkov z enakim namenom – postati opažen!

Advertising on illuminated media has therefore become a very popular method of becoming “visible”. When choosing a lighted sign, however, it is important to meet at least three important criteria:

–    The sign must be visible by day as well as by night

–    It must be visible from as many angles as possible

–    It must enable simple maintenance

Recently, outdoor advertising by means of LED displays has been on the rise as these displays represent a more effective way of advertising compared to the static lighted displays.  LED displays can also show animated messages, such as commercials and videos, making them even more attractive to passers-by. For this reason, this modern medium enables a quick and simple way to communicate with your target audience which directly contributes to your sales as your messages will not go unnoticed.

Outdoor advertising began many years ago when innkeepers listed their offerings on wooden panels in front of their establishments. Signs displayed on old buildings can still be seen today. The copper and brass signs and boards that used to shine in all their glory on the building fronts were abandoned over time, as their maintenance was both time-consuming and expensive. The most obvious weak point of these signs and markings, however, was their poor “visibility”, as they were not visible by night and were easily overlooked by day as well.

The modern media of today, lighted signs, LED displays, advertising columns and neon signs enable a wide variety of effects, all with a common purpose – to be noticed!
